Teslong bore scope software issues

Well been using my Teslong bore scope (wi-fi model) for 3 years now and it has worked great. Now when I try to use it with my samsung tablet and launch Mo-view software it will not work. Get program not working error.

Loaded up the Mo-view app on my samsung phone and it works.

Tried uninstalling the app on the tablet and down loaded from the app store and get the same error on the tablet.

Yes my tablet is old but it was working.

Is there another app that I can use besides Mo-view??

Thanks for any help.

Larry

thanks for the responses.
This Teslong borescope is the Wi-Fi version and need a viewer that will except a wi-fi connection.

I loaded USB camera but it is looking for a USB device, which this borescope does not have.

Teslong suggested I try Smart Endoscope but it will not run on my Samsung tablet.

it wont work on my samsung either. my shot marker keeps loosing connection on the same samsung. gave up and got a leveno for the shot marker. I got the screen from teslong, very happy with it.

This issue is not unique to your device, the same issue exists with lots of devices. Software is updated and support for older phones and tablets is either removed or effectively so. I view it as the force users to buy new devices (Android and IOS both) coding.

If you know of a version of Mo-view app that did/does work with your Teslong, then you could side-load it, but you'd have to assure updates are disabled or soon after installing it would be updated and you'd be back to same issue. This of course assumes Teslong didn't update the firmware of your unit and cause the issue. If that were the case they might have a way to downgrade the firmware and stop updates.

In the end this is why buying something like the USB version is the best course of action or their unit with a monitor although the latter allows for more failure points. It's unlikely the USB version would ever fail and if it did it's not nearly as costly to replace as the others and the USB version will literally work with any device that supports USB.
