Another sign of the times —Trigger Locks

This has been some pretty normal stuff for a long time at larger chains. I don't buy from them so it's not an issue for me. My LGS doesn't have locks on guns.

The closest big gun shop to me is a Cabela's and it's an hour drive one way. I wanted to check out the trigger on a S&W CSX because I had read reviews about the trigger not being the greatest. Clerk handed me the CSX and I asked if he could remove it so I could try the trigger. He said company policy prevented him from doing so. I will not waste an hour and the gas to go to Cabela's again. I'm sure Cabela's will cry the loudest when the internet sales run them out of the gun business.
