Another rifle lost

Lol, others beat me to it about the clothes rack and the treadmill motors. Guys do a lot of stuff with the VFD treadmill motors.

I’ve heard those pole dancing classes can really tone up a girls muscles and burn the calories. At least that’s what the adds say!;) Might of saved you some cash but I do know about a wife and her wants! Good move to make her happy!:)
Pole dancers never saved me any cash!!

I gave my wife what she wanted, now I`m here in bum F`d Delaware. Man is this place flat. The closest thing to a mountain is the landfill.
Happy wife,suckie life. Jeff

@Ranger188
Good move keeping the little woman happy, we just celebrated our 37 th anniversary, I’ve always tried to give her whatever she asked for.
I must be doing something right...

You're 100% correct. I've only been married 20 years, but our secret to happiness is her pretending to believe what I tell her bullets and barrels cost, just as I pretend to believe what her shoes and handbags cost.

We both just say the sale or deal was just to good to pass up, and leave it at that.

Gregg,

Kim and I have an incredible home gym. I always wanted one, so when we built our house I started filling the basement with commercial gym equipment (15 machines so far) We use it nearly everyday and I’ve dropped about 50 pounds and the wife has dropped a bunch to. The secret was moving the coffee pot to the gym. No workout No Coffee! We’ve turned the clock back 20 years.

I couldn’t resist. Here’s free tickets to the Gun Show! Not bad for an old Man! 569D6568-5B64-4280-AC1B-B387CF511C5E.png

Resale on a rifle is way better than excercise equipment .
That's what I keep telling my wife, all the guns I have bought haven't gone down in value! We also helped our daughter purchase a house and get it ready for her to do a pre-school...but covid and the DCFS back-log, that's not happenin any time soon. So there went several rifles or maybe that Kolar combo!

Cool! I’m afraid if I had the gym and coffee pot combo, that would justify the box of donuts too!:D

One thing dietitians say is not to starve yourself of a treat, then you just want it more.
Just cut back. I love a good Bismarck with a custard filling. Maybe 1 a week, not 1-2 a day.
Hoping this helps lower my pulse rate, breath control and then my on target shooting under stress.

Marilyn and I will be married 50 years next May 21st. Through those years, she has got on the exercise kick only to find out that you actually have to use the darn tread mills in order to get the benefits.

I would bet that in any given neighborhood, at least half of the home’s garages have a pile of junk that underneath it all is some type of workout equipment.

My game is pushups. Back years ago when I had that horrific drag bike crash, I started doing push-ups as part of my rehab. I never stopped.

At 73, I still do 50 push-ups every night before I go to bed.

I am real olde and like to eat & drink but am aware of the consequences of overindulgence. I am also very much aware of how much various workers charge for their services, so if I can perform the task I do it myself and save outside labor costs of $80-100 per hour. At my advanced age it takes much effort/exertion and time to accomplish various tasks and I regard this as paid exercise to balance or compensate me for my simple enjoyable culinary events and visits to my LGS' and plastic(CC) use at remote gun stuff sites. This next w/e its charbroiled silver salmons. fresh garden corn, tossed green salad with our garden tomatoes, home made dressing - virgin olive oil/vinegar(tiny amount)/garlic/mustard (tiny amount)/blue cheese. Santa Rita sauvignon blanc, Chile, (real good deal @ $6-$8 bottle), pan fried potatoes (in their own steam) using a tiny amount of light olive oil (brown crust then flip over). and for desert vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate fudge slathered all over.

You did the right thing Ranger188.....let me tell you how bad it can get: my wife, of 124 years, wanted a GD horse. Now she couldn't find "the right one" in this state. As a matter of fact she couldn't even find the right one on this continent. She finds her creampuff in Holland. It costs $10,000 just to get it here!!! The bad part is I cant argue with her or I'll hear about how many guns I have and what they cost. Now, tell her how much you love her and buy her something else!!!!!

But Mexican hookers sure can if you compare their cost to being married!!!!!

Edit: one other thing...once, in Matamouros two of them hung me up by the feet and spanked me senseless with ping-pong paddles.....the cost, $37.00!!! Just try and get your wife and sister-in-law to do that!!!!
