Claims filed!!! Its been brought to my attention USPS pays out on about 16% of all claims filed. I ain't holding my breath. How’ bout telling the client to send the stock in a foam lined gun case in a box, thru the post office. That’s how I send my stuff to my smith. Oh, and insure the crap out of it! I hate to see your beautiful work defaced! They should pay! UPS, that is! File a claim!![]()
Thanks I'll probably go this route, says I'll have it Monday. I will be polishing this out on Tuesday for shipping that afternoon.I always ship firearms and stocks in a cheap hard case. Lock it down with good zip ties. You can get some of the Plano cases for $20. Cheap insurance. Can also place the case in a box to keep it incognito.

Well its sprayed still needs a nib n polish before shipping.
I'm buying a plano case as suggested by
@Ledd Slinger at the end of this post.
I recieved this stock back 37 hours ago as I write this 6 beers and 7 coats of clear later I'm done!
It's hard to believe that I was sanding bondo in the shop an hour before painting.
As I said before I stand behind my work, but I'd like to add.
"I work for YOU, because without YOU I wouldn't work!"
