Another 30BR range test

Prior to todays test I had made it out once since previous post. I tweaked brass a bit…increased bump to 0.003” and turned again for a shade more neck clearance. I now have 0.0015” per side clearance. I still can’t reach the 34+g LT-30 some of you are running without excessive bolt lift and extractor swipes( there is no ejector in my Borden action). Maybe I’ve got a super spicey lot of LT-30. Node I’m using is 1/2 g wide and yielded groups low 0.1” to mid 0.1”s at 100 yards.
Test today was mid point that node. 3 score targets new brass-3 targets 1X fired brass. Conditions weren’t awful but never got consecutive shots in same condition. Test would have been much more valid if I had alternated brass each target. I shot all 3 targets with new brass first. By the time I shot 1X brass I had condition and holds pretty much figured out.
Not running near enough neck tension. Awaiting bushings from Wilson and supply of N130 before I shoot again. N130 arrives Monday…no clue on bushings as there’s been no shipping notification from Wilson. They might have not had them in stock.
Still pretty pleased with where I’m at and what I’ve learned. Only 140 rounds on barrel and I’m new to cartridge.

I recently order some bushing for my 30br from Wilson and took little over week to get them. What sizes did you order?

0.325,0.326,0.327”
My loaded neck diameter is 0.329”(down from first tests at 0.330”. Reamer is 0.332” neck.
I’m at a week today for what it’s worth. Here in Cody,Wy decent conditions for range trips are gonna get rare heading into winter. No big rush on when bushings show up.

v-120 is another powder that is successful. you make no metion of bullet used? .324- .323 bushing will be more needed than ones you have ordered. Assuming you have .330 nk

0.332” neck and Berger 115.
Made it out this morning for first tests with N130 and more correct neck tension. Ladder test from 33.5 to 34.3 with 0.1g increments - seated a touch into lands. Wider node than I had with LT-30. All 9 groups( 3 shot) averaged under 1/4 MOA and those in the node avg was was 0.220”. Next up seating depth test. I’ll drag out chrono at that point.
