Annie Induction Annealer -- Info Requested

Ordered an Annie Induction Annealer going on two months ago and at first they said their supply chain was interrupted because of the virus, which is understandable.
But now they created a ups shipping notice with a tracking # and promised to ship it that day twice when I talked to them 5 days apart and as of now the tracking # shows ups hasn't picked it up yet.
Has anyone had recent experience with Fluxeon, I really like the Annie but I'm getting concerned.

If it is coming from NZ you need to realize that the whole country is pretty well locked down, so things are probably moving a bit slow. I'm sure your unit will show pretty soon. I keep being tempted to buy one of those myself.

This is what I did with mine. Next will be a full CNC machined aluminum case now that I know the concept works. I will probably add a few other features such as proximity switch to start timer and a case feeder system.

o_O NZ - New Zealand - I don't think so - More like San Diego, CA.
Ordered on March 10, completed and tracking # sent on April 20, Estimated arrival date April 24, on April 24 ups still not picked it up and in call to Fluxeon on April 24 order would go out on that day - still does not show in ups system other than tracking # and ready for pick up.
Still waiting they said they are still working and not shut down.

I feel your pain. I have ordered several things in the last month or 2 and delivery has been very hit or miss. If I had laid down that much cash for a new toy I would be just as anxious as you are. Hopefully it will get going soon.

What does the timing mechanism on top do?
Interesting I can imagine a robotic arm that inserts the next case from a gravity feed magazine after the treated case is dropped out the bottom.:)

Fluxeon is a good outfit, and I expect you will be very happy with your Annie when it arrives.
I have had one for a couple years, and I think it is a bargain annealer.

Here is what I did with mine.

I went a bit overboard on mine, but it was a winter project to keep me busy. I highly recommend Norm Matzen's approach, see post #43, very simple to execute and all the timing, start & stop etc are in the Annie.

Got the Annie today and it is a great machine, looking forward to playing with it.
First impression, it was easy to set up, the instruction manual was as complete as could be expected.
Actually I could have put it together and got it running without the manual, everything is fairly simple and straight forward.
