I just wanted to share some results from using the Annealing Made Perfect. These loads Es used to be in the 30’s and 40’s. Only thing I changed was the way I annealed.

So what temperature do you anneal at?
I let the Annealer tell me. No idea. That’s the fame of the Annealer Made Perfect. It has a program where it actually melts your case and analyze’s it. Then it gives you a program code that u will always use with the same brass or the same Lott number, It’s called the Aztec program. Basically lab equipment that u can have at your reloading bench.
Just got my AMP Annealer a week ago, I played with it with some junk brass and so far looks like it is pretty slick. Just wish I had a little more instructions that explains things a little better for us old guys. But once I get it figured out it should be really fast, and the best part no gas and it will be something I can take to the range, when I stay for a couple days to test.

I won't post names but I do know many top shooters. Some never anneal, some that anneal every 3rd-4th firing and some that anneal after every firing. It needs to be part of your load development and testing.
30-40ES seems way to high and I do suspect something else to be the cause. Doubt anyone winning at a high level has ES spread anywhere close to that regardless of how they treat their brass.

Yes. I used the Annealeeze. I anneal after every firing. And I wet tumble with stainless steel media.
Didn’t mean to cause some he said she said stuff over my ES. Most of my velocities ran in the 20’s. But I would always get some random velocities in the 30-40 FPS deviation. After using the AMP I’ve came to conclusion that I was Nit Annealing properly which was affecting neck tension. I’ve only been reloading for a year or so. Just thought I would share my findings. Annealing is a big part of consistency and consistency is key.

From what Tech0214 has done, he tried one thing and it worked for him and that one thing was Annealing. So that tells me he knows what he is doing.
If more people would just try one thing at a time and find results like he has, then you might be saying to yourself hey I can figure things out myself instead of asking others for there magic bullet.
And as for 1000 yard shooters unless some want to chime in most do anneal.
