Annealing height question

Are the 308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor close enough in length that I could anneal both in a Ballistic Edge or Bench Source machine without adjusting the height of the torch flame? Or would I need to adjust it for each caliber? Thanks.

Speaking for the Bench-Source...

Probably could anneal without adjustment. But adjustment takes 2-3 seconds. Leave the tension knobs snug but not tight, and aim the nozzle. Put the pencil tip part of the flame where you want it. Without issue.

I anneal everything from .30-06 to .300 Blackout, daily. Flame height adjustment is a non-issue. And it also is not super duper critical. Just aim at the center of the shoulder or perhaps a touch higher on a long necked case.

My opinion, Your mileage may vary.
