Annealer's any reviews

This one looks like a production model.
I can't help but believe that an induction annealer which includes a water bath and circulation pump to keep the induction coil from melting would be a more expensive solution than a box with a small motor and a couple of rollers.

I actually asked this guy about his machine. But his english was terable. I suspect he is overseas. So i did not buy one. It costs 1000$

I looked as some of the comments on the YouTube video. His e-mail address is in Poland, if that says anything. Still, it looked like a slick annealer.

That induction Annealer is premium according to my wallet. It would be fantastic to have, I just couldn't justify the expense. I guess annealer techniques go from the ultra frugal to the extravagant; socket to induction.

For my needs and budget, I'd like to see a simple slotted drum with a hand crank and a stand to hold the propane torch. Drop the case into the drum with one hand and rotate slowly until the slot comes to the bottom and the hot case drops out. If I bought one of the fancy automatic annealers I'd almost feel compelled to bring it to matches and club meetings to let everyone else anneal their brass too. Sort of to justify the expense.

Finally got to anneal some brass today. I started with my 300 Blackout Brass because it's what I was most interested in getting done. The process went without incident and I'm proud of the results. Now, for clarification, do you think I had the flame aimed to far down the brass or not? You can clearly see the "line of demarcation", and I don't want to go to far south in my heat treatment. Tempilaq seemed to give excellent guidance as to the heat and I was able to effortlessly set the speed of the feed roller to match. Annealer setup for 300 Blackout Brass requires about 5 minutes, if you're slow, and involves a milled piece of Delrin :
Two screws and it's attached. Also the white Delrin inserts to the feed roller are needed for smaller diameter brass such as 5.56, ect.
A couple more pics that depict my Tempilaq instillation as well as pics of the heat treated brass (300 BO - not all in the basin were heated) and the 5.56 brass.

Also a short video clip of the beginning of my journey. Please ask any "relevant" questions. I don't need to hear you do the same thing with a socket and drill.

Need and want are two different things most of the time....

I've made do with my 'D&S' for almost ten years now, worked just fine thanks.

FedEx truck delivered my Mike's Annealer today, I like what I see.

Had to work today so trial run on some 6HAGAR brass will have to wait 'till Friday. From the look of his workmanship I hope he's prepared to sell a bunch of these things.

You're in for a treat. Great design/engineering in that there isn't much that CAN go wrong with the machine, and if it does, Mike will make it right. This is the type of machine you'd expect from a retired Engineer that's slightly OCD(that's a good thing). I'm going to run some more 5.56 today. Congrats on your purchase.
