We will be holding a 400-yard Pa Tack Driver Lite match at Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club on Saturday, July 30th, 2022

This match will be limited to the first 50 registrations received and will have a cash payout. Payout will be roughly 2/3 of the total registration. Registration cost is $25 and will be limited to the first 50 on a first come first serve basis.

The targets to be shot at this match will be hung at 400 yards and will alternate group, score, group, score. Targets used will be the IBS 200-yard score target and the IBS 300-yard group target.

This match is intended to be fun, challenging, and bring something a little different to our area. This match is structured similarly to the Tack Driver match shot in Orangeburg, SC and will give you a sense of the match format and challenges.

Flags will be permitted at this match and must be set before the sight in period.
Benches will be assigned randomly and will remain the same throughout the match.
Range will open the morning of July 30th at 7:00 am and there will be a sight in period from 8:00 am until 8:45 am with the match starting at 9:00 am

Tom Hamilton Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club President will be cooking for this event. I believe he is making Chili.

If you are interested in attending, please see the match rules and registration attached. If you have questions on the rules or registration, feel free to contact me.

Will you be at the July 2nd, 300 yard, UBR shoot. at Anderson Creek ??
Or best just send a check ?? And should the check be addressed to you
or Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club.

It was announced at last week's Deer Match that Chef Tom was making chili for the Tackdriver Lite. It's always a very popular choice.
He better make a 55 gallon drum of it. We both know it goes fast,
for the normal amount of shooters. 50 shooters is a lot of chili !!

Match is a week away! There are still spots available. Come out have a good time, make some new friends, and eat some good food.

There have been questions on spotting scopes on the line during the match. The concern is being able to see bullet holes at 400 on a cream colored target with red rings.

I understand the concern and will amend the rule for this match and allow spotting scopes on the line.

I want this match to run smoothly and be fun for all that attend. If spotting scopes become an issue due to space or people leaving them in the walkways then we will go back to the original rules.

Good rule change. General George Patton once said that any order that could not be changed or altered was a bad order to start with. Spotting scopes have never been an issue yet, no reason they should be this time. Simple, be considerate of your fellow shooters. I have been at big IBS matches where every Hunter Class shooter has a spotting scope and never seen any problems, It will be a challenging and fun match. It was a good idea Jeremiah.
