American Rifle Company Nucleus- Announced on FB today

Thats cool. Ive had nothing but good things to say about ARC. All my scoped firearms wear their rings and 1 piece AR rings.

Interesting design, could be a good choice for a short to medium range hunting rifle.
The lefty option and compatible with Savage pre-fits is a plus.

Looks like they try to incorporate every feature they could find that nobody else uses- what kind of ejector we need? Nobody uses the springfield. Ok we’ll use that. How bout bolt lugs? Well nobody hardly uses 3 lugs due to the horrific bolt lift. Ok, done. Now lets put more anti bind rails in just to make sure.
I cant see how they can make it for that money but i applaud them for being different. The recoil lug into the scope base is definitely taking it to the next level in the strength dept.

very interesting design, I like the idea of the rotating bolt stop and the keyed lug. melonited finish is a plus.. might have to be a guinea pig and try one

Anyone can clone a Remington. I admire people who are creative. I have no idea who the guy is but his ingenuity is admirable. That action is like a Krieghoff. All those parts may not be necessary but for some they consider it art.

Maybe that extractor is unnecessary, but what else would function with controlled round feeding?

The deposit is to get in on the reduced introductory pricing.

I have a Mausingfield, and love it. Best rifle action.
This rifle should be pretty good. I am thinking about getting one as you can get the 223 bolt face, which you can't get in the Mausingfield

I was looking at the Mausingfield last year and decided to go with the Bighorn TL3 for that exact reason. Well, that and the $1600ish price tag.
