American Rifle Company Nucleus- Announced on FB today

I can see this in my future. MPA chassis, nut and some pre-fits from Bugholes, good trigger....yeah man.
I was planning on pre-ordering 2 of the arcs to do matching builds for me and my son. But now wondering if I should do one on each action. I am a savage nut so prefit compatibility is a major plus for me. Always been jealous of 700 trigger options and that they get stock inletting first. So definitely going to do something with a couple of them.

I have a Mausingfield and love it but I’m a sucker for CRF and claw extractors.

I will say it has been flawless through 1,300 rounds of top loaded, snap over the rim single feeds.....but so are my FNchester and 1903A3

I was also not a big fan of the bolt handle design but it’s grown on me. Like everything Ted designs there’s purpose behind it and form follows finction.

If I hadn’t already committed to another rifle project I’d have $250 in route to ARC.

I've wanted a Mausingfield action ever since Teddy came out with it,but could never justify the price. I built my last rifle on a Shilen DGR action (Stiller),and while not the best action,it does what I need it to do. Besides,Shilen is only about 45 minutes from my house.

I just put a deposit down on a LH Nucleus action, now I'll have time to decide on what I want to build.
I ordered 1 too at the show.

I'm waiting for the long action to be available to order. In late February Ted e-mailed an answer to my inquiry and said they would be available to order "soon", but they still show Out of Stock on the website. I keep watching and hoping to get something to put my trigger and barrel on and put in my stock. I even inquired with Curtis about threading an Axiom in 1-1/6"-20, but that was a dead end, and I really wanted a CRF so I can shoot short and standard/magnum calibers both with the same action. I guess a TL Hunter is an option, but I really like the Nucleus and the comments I've read about the quality of Ted's work.

Has anyone received or heard anything more about timeline for delivery?

I emailed the company to see when they would be shipping the action that I ordered/paid for and have yet to hear back.

Inquiring minds want to know.

There's a thread over on SH about the subject.

Apparently some of the actions through serial numbers 24xx have shipped.

Seriously??? You have to carry an allen wrench to get the bolt out? Or am I misunderstanding the function of the clunky crossbolt thingie nobody wants to talk about?

I'm waiting for an email that my action is ready to ship, but it'll probably be in the second batch they produce. I have everything else for the build setting on the bench. I decided on a 22 Creedmoor for this build since I have a bunch of 75 & 80 gr .224 pills on the shelf needing to go fast.
KRG Bravo chassis-converted to LH
Trigger Tech Diamond trigger
X-Caliber 20" 1-7 twist varmint contour barrel's -2
Revic PMR 428 scope
ARC M10 34mm rings
and a set of Whidden dies.
