I played with one of their actions at the Shot Show, liked it and put an order in for an action and an additional bolt head, 1 mag, 1 standard. It came in the door last week , I had a donor barrel crowned, threaded for a can, chambered in 300 WSM waiting to cut matching threads. A day later it was together in a GRS Berserk stock with a Leica 3-15 on top. The action is very nice, smooth with a lot of really nice features. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. This is a hunting rifle with some target, steel shooting included in the mix. It also shoots, 2 of us last night were putting 175 gr Barnes LRX's in the same hole at 300 yds, more than good enough for a hunting rifle with a hunting scope that has fairly fat x hairs and better than I expected using a donor barrel. It wouldn't be possible unless the geometry was correct on the action. Kudos to American Rifle Co.
