American made 22 rifle?

The old winchester 67/68, 75 as well as the Remington 511, 512, 513 513T are all excellent rifles. Now and then they show up in shops where AR's rule and old single shots drool, so you get them for a pittance. I got my last 68 for $125 a few years ago.

I sold a fine 513T with Weaver T scope on it for $550 back in 2016.

Yea thanks all I was looking for Keystone. I am having trouble finding him a full-sized keystone rifle. i saw a bunch of cricket sized rifles, but none for a grown up. Do they sell them from the factory, or do they have to come from a dealer? He has ARs and shotguns, but nothing to defend the chicken coop with out alerting the whole neighborhood. Someone told him he needed a 22 but he has no idea what style or action.
Model 722 chassis

I shot my new “old” Winchester 69A today. I set up a target in the back yard and shot off the back patio. I brought out a Savage Anschutz to see which gun would shoot better. Target set at about 30 yards. The first pic is the 69A 5 shot group, fired by me off a cheap rest. It has an old Unertyl 4 power on it.C39230CE-4369-479C-BB55-9638713CAA81.jpeg

I am as much buy American as I can. BUT when it comes to firearms I have no guilt including European in the mix, and esp for 22lr as that has been their 'thing' over there forever. There is also an Aussie 22lr that gets great reviews.
I've deviated from the "American only" in my love of classic beauty. The production of classic Winchesters by Miroku really turned my head when I saw the Model 1885 imported by Winchester Repeating Arms. Got a huge bonus as well in that they are VERY accurate~!

Aussie is Lithgow

DiOrio is still making complete rifles (I think, but please understand I have no personal experience with them).

Kevin, I don't think I could live long enough to get one.
