aluminum stocks

Thanks. Looking for a heavy 20-30 lb. benchrest stock.
It may not be what your after but you could use stainless were I have used aluminum to add weight and function to a XLR element chassis. like a plate for the front rest and a bar on the fixed stock for the rear bag maybe a couple of bars to the forend sides for added weight that may get you closer to the weight your after

A actual aluminum stock may be hard to get to that weight without added bulk but I don't know no real experience here.
I have thought about this before and interested.

My 1000 yard long-range pistol in the aluminum stock I mentioned weighs 24 lbs, a fella shooting a 30/338 with wider side panels weighs 34 lbs. How much heavier do you need?

Side panels can be removed, slim ones added or custom to 5 inches wide then can be filled with lead shot to satisfaction.

Who makes heavy aluminum benchrest stocks? Using a BAT L.

Here is another supplier for your stock:

I think the difference is in the style he is looking for not just the weight and function.
