Ii'm interested in an aluminum pistol stock, is Cycle Start CNC still in business? Is there anyone else who makes similar stocks? Thanks for your help...Ron

Ron,

I have McRee chassis for some of my pistols they work well for what I do with them. Just get the rifle stock without the buttstock on it. Yes Cycle Start is still making them too.

Joe is still making and improving his stocks. I just put pictures of my latest gun in the 223 section of this forum. titled throated my 223.

sawcarver, I looked at those this morning, I'll have to do a bit more research and yours looks nice. The one thing I like about the Cycle Start stock is the ability to add weight to help with recoil.

Topstrap, I read your thread the other day because prior to reading it I was having a discussion with a fellow shooter [and good friend] about re-throating my 223 for the same reason and its benefits. When I saw your gun that's what reminded me that I hadn't heard from Joe at Cycle Start in over a month. I also saw your thread on practical machinist...are all those your pistols?

Ron

I'll have to check and see what picture is there. I did have a few pictures of a group of all our stocks together one time. I only have 4 of his, 3 first ge and my latest 223 with the newer stock.
