Alpha BRA brass?? annealing and turning necks.

Folks, I am wondering if any of you that are using Alpha BRA brass in a tight neck chamber have tried annealing the brass brand new, but with the necks turned? I am curious.

I turn the new necks then anneal.

I just turned 100 pieces of Alpha 6br brass. Turned them to .009, then analyzed one in my AMP annealer. Then annealed them.

I anneal then run the expander mandrel then turn to .010 . Now that I have an annealer. It makes the whole process so much easier. I’m switching to Peterson brass and intend on doing the same .

.009 seems quite thin, any particular reason ?

My 6br has a .266 neck. I size with a .259 bushing then a .241 mandrel. It gives me a .262 loaded round. The 95 gr Bib FB bullets I shoot have a .2436 to .2437 pressure ring. With this set up, I get much more consistent seating force and seating depth.
