Alliant Powder Lot #'s

I have been on a quest for 5lb jugs of 22 & 25. No luck so far....I can locate the 1lb locally and would like to see if I could find some of the same lot. Looking at a partial of 25 I have sitting here on th bottom left side of the label there are a series of #'s that with in I believe is the lot #....Here it is....05075z062210....Could someone in the know please break this down for me.....And a few opinions on if it is just plane stupid to even consider mixing same lot powders out of 1lb containers to load for precision long range shooting. I blend my powders together all the time to create one large lot#. Warning though as I consider this ground zero now and all loads are reworked up knowing I have changed my powder lot#.

I did the very same thing with 16lbs of H4895. Had one 8lbs jub and eight 1lb jugs that I mixed together and back and forth until I had a 16lb of the same mixed lot. This is BEFORE I did any load testing.

The likelihood of you finding the same lot numbers is nil... every reloader I know (and that is a lot) will mix 1 pound jugs together.

My reloader bottles have 5 digit lot numbers in yellow stamped on them. They vary at where they are stamped. Matt
