I have been on a quest for 5lb jugs of 22 & 25. No luck so far....I can locate the 1lb locally and would like to see if I could find some of the same lot. Looking at a partial of 25 I have sitting here on th bottom left side of the label there are a series of #'s that with in I believe is the lot #....Here it is....05075z062210....Could someone in the know please break this down for me.....And a few opinions on if it is just plane stupid to even consider mixing same lot powders out of 1lb containers to load for precision long range shooting. Thank you for your help and input.......Rick

Re: Allkiant Powder Lot #'s

I blend my powders together all the time to create one large lot#. Warning though as I consider this ground zero now and all loads are reworked up knowing I have changed my powder lot#.

I did the very same thing with 16lbs of H4895. Had one 8lbs jub and eight 1lb jugs that I mixed together and back and forth until I had a 16lb of the same mixed lot. This is BEFORE I did any load testing.

The likelihood of you finding the same lot numbers is nil... every reloader I know (and that is a lot) will mix 1 pound jugs together.

My reloader bottles have 5 digit lot numbers in yellow stamped on them. They vary at where they are stamped. Matt
