After Market Target Turrets

Did/Does anyone make after market target turrets??
The complete turret, not just the cap.
Stoney Point turrets work pretty well, when they can be found.

I didn't know Leupold let any out.
Are they M1 type or standard target turret.
Interested either way, I guess.
Pics to my email, if possible.

They look like the m series not a target turret with a cap. They are on their website with the other accessories

Does anyone know if the old "Stoney Point" adjustment knobs will fit on the newer finger style knobs that are on the Vx 3i models ?

I dont have the Stoney Point turrets but I do have the Leupold S1 dials and I believe they both mount the same way from the pictures I have seen. That plastic cap on your windage turret should pop off and the S1 dials install right on. If the Stoney Point ones mount the same way then I can't see why they wouldn't work. But that will only work for your windage. For your elevation you would have to get a custom CDS cap made from leupold or maybe aftermarket like Kenton Industries if you dont like the standard CDS cap.

Thanks Bro. Kind of where my thoughts were.

Had a set of the Stoney Point turrets that I installed on a Leupold scope. Useless, sent them back and sent the scope to Leupold to get their target knobs on. The Stoney Point ones would not allow large changes as designed, maybe they have improved.

I just received one of the Leupold S1 screw on elevation dials. Fits all VXIII and VX3 scopes with the slot. The little plastic finger caps comes off like in the picture above. Use a bottle cap opener gently, pops right off. The S1 dial is not on the website. You have to call and ask for it. They can also custom engrave them like the CDS with load data if you choose. I ordered one and with 1/4" click marks and received it in just under two weeks. $80. Quality is superb. I have yet to shoot it to test the click/markings but I have no doubt that it will work.

Well Dusty, I found the CDS dials, but sure could not locate any others.
Will try calling Leupold, for additional info.
You have to call the leupold custom shop and ask for them (S1 dials for MOA or S5 dials for MIL).They dont list them online or advertise them. It's almost like they try to keep them a secret.

Dusty, you're exactly right. I was quoted $230 plus tax, to send a vx2 in and get the elevation turret changed. That's only for the elevation. I still have the email. Just checked it to make sure I had the right price. I dont know what the wait time would be on that either. I ended getting the S1 dials from them and it was only $150 for both the elevation and windage ($75 each) including shipping.
