Advice on buying a chrono

Given your requirements I'd consider the Shotmarker. You get a lot more for your buck including a chrono at target which is likely as good as a Magnetospeed. If you were wanting to do load development over a chrono then I'd add the Two Box Chrono to the list of options considered above.

I have had experience with magneto speed sporter,V3 ,and lab radar I personally went with the magneto speed they are all very accurate but had a lot of problems missing shots with the lab radar it is very finicky about where it is pointed and uses batteries like crazy not to mention very expensive the Magnetospeed sporter is very cheap the V3 more expensive a little better interface and a memory card option the only complaint of course is it Mounted to the barrel and changes point of impact to solve this I bought this amount from wiser precision fairly cheap carbon fiber and I can leave it on for all my shot strings and know what is really going on with my ammo over a much larger group
