ADL Extended Mag?

Wyatt's dose not seem to make an ADL short action 308 extended magazine. Any ideas on where I can get one? Or how I can modify a standard magazine? Will I need to make a longer follower? Or add to the one I have? Since my action dose not have a hole to screw an ADL box on, how do I attach it to the action? I was thinking just a tad of epoxy for and aft.

P.S. yes my action will accept the longer box.

Too long! I have extended the box almost .200" by cutting and welding.

What does an extended box buy you? I always thought the round capacity of an ADL was limited by the amount of space available in the stock. If you want more capacity, wouldn't a detachable box magazine work better?

It will buy me length, not round count, I will be able to seat bullets farther out, something that a detachable magazine will not achieve.

Maybe I should just E-mail, there product description is pretty confusing, the only thing I can find are the short mag and standard short BDL mags. Thanks for the info, if I can't get one from them the shorting of the long actions seems to be the easiest way to achieve my goal. Thanks again.

Ah so! I was thinking extending it vertically not horizontally ;-) Your reason is why all my bolt guns are single shots. COAL means nothing to me.

FYI: Kevin just sent me an E-mail informing me to block up the BDL box in the stock. Now that sounds doable, thanks for the replies and if anyone else has been following this in the shadows I hope it helps.
