Adjustable cheek riser hardware

Looking for a source of simple and "affordable" cheeck risers, like the one pictured. All the ones on eBay are in Europe. I definitely like the Mcgees thumbwheel kits but all that is not needed in my current project

Maybe I have an extra set if you need one. I just migrated to Texas for the winter. Let me get the truck unloaded and get organized. I’m not sure how many I have or how many blanks need them.

I just went out and dug thru my parts boxes and found 4 ACP sets. I have 4 stocks that need them so I’m sorry to say I don’t have an extra.
You might want to call KMW and ask when he’ll have more.

Can anyone recommend a person to install a set on a mcmiallan fn spr stock? I can pretty easily handle the install, it is the cutting of stock where I would screw it up

Howdy !

Here's a pic of a simple/ low costm cheek " locator ".

Some thing like this could be further enhanced by adding a threaded insert to the butt stock, a slightly arc’ed cut-out slot in the side of the plastic locator ( “ riser ); and a threaded knob used for tighten the locator to affix the chosen final position.

I went w/ a single fwd attach point, and made use of the plastic's flexible properties to allow pivoting the locator higher... mostly @ it's aft end.

One could alternately use a Kidex sheet or similar, slots in the sheet' threaded inserts in the stock; and mating threaded knobs..... to fashion an adjustable cheek locator.

Additional layers or perhaps eveni a gap filler the foam could be included, to bolster
a holllow cheek locator; for applications where cheek contact might be more vigorous.

My CERUS came with the RAD system cheekpiece and butt stock already fitted.
That was from Will in HI about sixteen months ago.
