I am also going to put a Decelerator pad on it being there is none on it now! I was looking at brownells and there are hundreds, I want one 1"thick but which one is the one the will fit on the A-5? I know I will have to do some fitting.

I took off the butt plate and spacers and I can't get into the butt unless I drill through the last black plate. I also have a strip up front that I can put lead into.

What kind of cheek rest do you have?? If it's solid like the stock or even more solid then you could fill that space since it's a non support part of the stock..

Yea, or you could be custom about it by purchasing a tall, round glass vial, with a screw on lid, from a lab or medical supply shop.. Add as much mercury as required.....

Just get some heavy shot . It is close to 30 percent heaver then lead . Larry

replace one of the spacers with a steel plate shaped like the spacer.

The glass or whatever you plan on putting it in will be encased by your stock and whatever compound you use to close the opening... Sealed shut..

I add weight by making the barrel bigger. Then again my latest barrel is right now on a weight loss program at Kampfeld. Got a little carried away with this one.
