Accuracy with suppressor

All rifles are diffrent and diffrent things affect diffrent rifles, even those of the same make cal etc, diffrently. As a GENERAL rule the answer os no. i have even heard of a suppressor helping accuracy. The person to ask is Mike at tac-ops. he's probably forgot more about this subject than the rest of us will ever know.

Have any of you experienced a rifle that just won’t shoot with a muffler?
I finished up my 6.5x47 the other week and it shoots great without it. Put it on and you would think the bullets were hitting baffles but they are not. Put it on and it is hideous. Never seen anything quite like it.

I have a Mack Brothers 30 caliber can. My 6.5 X 47 shoots tighter groups with it mounted as compared to the Little Bastard self timing break. The point of aim is 1.25" lower but that is remedied by simply resetting the zero.

very interesting thread. As i said before suppressors are no big thing. They are Not like what you see in the movies. Not totally Quiet. I believe if more people had them it would help the shooting sports and hunting. Farmer friendly when hunting. My wife loves shooting with a suppressor. Less noise and less recoil.

I’ve had it for four years. My gas guns that I chambered... plus other bolt guns.... it’s no big deal. Point of impact shift and that’s it.

I have a Mack Bros. .223 (called the "Banish" from Dakota Silencer) and a YHM .30. With either one, on multiple rifles, every one of them shot better with the can than they did without. Lower POI, of course, esp. with the light sporter barrels and/or the heavy YHM and its steel mount. No tuning necessary, just screw them on and enjoy. BUT, are you sure it is staying tight? A can even the least little bit loose will play hell with your accuracy.
