.005 off and 54 clicks. It looks perfect and Tom a click is what is on a powder measure

Which load would you choose for a 100/200 yd match? WHY?
Bart,
Neck ties!
Tom
The problem I could foresee for myself was high centering! So I decide to stick with a more civilized sport.
Should have Alex build me a 10.5 lb rifle so I can take @BartsBullets up on his offer. I would have to have @johara1 help me tune it though. After all this blows over of course
Tom
Ballzer,
We probably better go by finish rank rather than an actual aggregate. I don't think there's enough tenths in an inch to make up for the feet you're gonna be down after the first two stages! I'll even do my best to help you, here's the first tip, if I wait, you best forget those dumb ass flags and wait too!

Tom -Cool report Donovan, yeah I wasn't even close. Would've thought @savagedasher might have nailed it, as he's the tuner brake guru.
Tom
Tom, this is the method used by HALL OF FAME shooter Jack Neary. He never weighs powder charges, but uses C-L-I-C-K-S on his Neil Jones powder measure. 55 clicks of N133 is a fairly hot load. Did you choose .005 off because it shot dots??? Which powder chargeI'd keep them at 5 off and come on the forums and ask wtf a "ckick" is

I believe the last two times I went to Weikert to see Nationals that more guys are checking powder with scales. At least that is what I observed from the guys under the roof. I couldn't see what the ones were doing in their motor homes or loading trailers. I would imagine a bunch were using scales and the enclosed area would help with drafts. It seems that the long rangers are very upset by the use of "clicks" to measure the charges. The above picture illustrates a method of tuning by Jack Neary. If any of you don't know Jack, he is a Hall of Fame shooter from Ohio. He is a representative of Vihtavouri powder and he teaches his method at all the big short range BR matches in the country. The reason that "clicks" are used is because Jack never weighs his powder charges. He depends on his Neil Jones measure and observes the results on paper. 50 clicks is a very light charge of N133 with a 68 gr. bullet and 55 is hot.
The above image represents a series of 3-shot groups used by Jack to determine the best seating depth. He looks for a depth that will shoot three different loads into the same relative position on the target. 0.005 inch off of jam does it in this case. With seating depth determined, Jack next tweaks his load with 5-shot groups. He would probably shoot the 55 clicks if it did not show the tendency to be too hot. When a load is too hot, it will spit shots out (normally) low. Good shooting......James
1. Best = #8 because it looks like #3 in the previous scenario.Questions:
- which of the 3 would you predict to perform best at 1000yds and why
- which of the 3 would you predict to perform the worse at 1000yds and why
- which of the 3 would disperse the worse vertical dispersion at 1000yds
