About What is a Firearm

Shoot at the law and see how good that goes. Cold dead hands might sound good but no more grand kids,no more beer and pizza, no more venison chili and no more sex with women. I'm like Dusty, already got rid of mine.

I think this is the reason Trump wants out of United Nations, He knows what they are up to!

Very interesting that you brought up the UN. A friend told me 20+ years ago that it is written in the UN Charter, that ALL citizens will be disarmed, and total gun confiscation is a goal. I have never researched this comment, so I do not know if it is true, but every gun owner will make the biggest decision of his/her life when "whoever/whatever entity" decides to kick in doors to take away our Liberties. May GOD have mercy.

Will be interesting to see how your door step negotiations go. Once your on the list you never get off the list.

You were on the list the first time you filled out one of the old yellow forms. There is a written account of how some think it will happen titled Unintended Consequences. It hasn't been I print for years, but I found it on a book website Scrib or something like that. It took me weeks to read. Very good book.

Possible scenario: say 10 million gun raids are made by authorities, if 25 percent of gun owners fight back and take out 1 of goons each as they come through the door there will be 2.5 million less of them to continue the confiscation of firearms, how long can they continue before they realize it will be worse on them and public opinion turns on the feds?

Unintended consequences by john ross is a book i wish everyone would read.
And those little yellow forms didnt put you on a list. I know where thousands of them are the atf doesnt want. Pretty much a dead end unless a crime is committed and they follow the transfer paths

That's the point though, isn't it? Firearm ownership itself is declared illegal?

Here’s your chance:

- unless this is just for public consumption & their real charter isn’t available for the rest of us.

So lately there has been chatter here about seizure of firearms for various reasons. What exactly does one have to give up if ordered to surrender a firearm? A stock, a trigger, a barrel or a scope?
The only piece of equipment that matters is the piece with the serial number right? Not even the bolt matters. Everything without a number isn't a firearm is it? Has anyone questioned why all the extra pieces are taken when only one part really matters? What's really going on?
So if a guy owns 20 rifles, which isn't out of ordinary, do you really think they will allow him time to take them all apart? Most guys don't even have the ability to take them apart. I pray they never knock on my door and expect to leave with mine....once the dust settles it won't matter what happens to the guns.

If I remember correctly, there were plenty of opportunities to take David Koresch while he was tooling around Waco. What approach did the govt take?
Attrition comes to mind, low seniority guys will wise up quickly.[/QUOTE]

Don't you think Clinton and Reno just wanted him and many others dead, so they would end the whole group/cult as they called them ? Reno got her way and you heard nothing further about it, after a few days really, right ?

Where is all this chatter coming from?
I don't really hear anything that extreme nor buy into propaganda.
Just curious

Many state legislatures are discussing RED FLAG laws. If you haven't familiarized yourself with these laws and the potential ramifications, you should do so.

From: The Minnesota a Gun Owners Caucus:

As currently proposed for Minnesota -
A “Red Flag” order law would allow a disgruntled neighbor, an ex-boyfriend, a former roommate, your doctor, or law enforcement to solicit the court – completely without your knowledge – to get a court order to seize your firearms.
