A Shout Out For Natchez Shooters Customer Service

I recently bought a refurbished Burris XTRII 2-10x42mm for $488(a smoking deal, got the last one in MOA) and it was advertised with a $100 rebate from Burris which would be $388. These are in the $900 range new and still covered under the lifetime warranty. I later found out that Burris doesn't offer the $100 on the remanufactured scopes so I called Natchez and they said oops, it was the tech departments screw up. They offered to take it back but I had already bought and lapped a set of ~$150 Seekins 34mm rings(purchased elsewhere) so I would be stuck with the rings as I don't have too many 34mm tubes. The rep kind of left the final answer as "sorry, we goofed" which was not really what I wanted to hear. Two days later I got a call from another rep who saw exactly what had happened, apologized for their error, said they had corrected the ad, and wanted to credit the $100 back to my card. Naturally I agreed and I will continue to shop there.
BTW, they also had "blemished" Leupold VX-6's for $450-$650 I picked up two of the 3-18x44mm for $650 @ and it is really difficult to tell where the blemishes are on either.

Good company.. My only complaint is shipping is high... You have to figure that in the price vs buying local and get it now price..

We pay 10% sales tax if bought local which cancels out the shipping, and I don't want my tax $$$ going to the state of California. I couldn't buy it here anyways because nobody carries anything "high end" here. I think Natchez is a good company but like you said shipping is high and twice the time compared to Midway.
