So much conspiracy theory here for sure. Can't say I didn't have some of it a year ago before hearing from several ammo company CEOs. If 12 million more shooters joined the ranks and the current population of shooters and reloaders increased their component and ammo purchases, this definitely can cause what we have seen over the last couple years. Supply chain wasn't as much an issue but hiring employees was for many companies. I'm comfortable with the explanation I've heard but not happy about it. I just chose to believe they are being honest about these shortages even if it pisses me off. Price increase may be the new fixed prices but if they are, loaded ammo will triple also. 80.00 for 20 rounds of ammo still makes reloading at today's component prices a helluva a discount to reload. It is what it is.

Gotta say this one more time....Keep paying inflated prices they will shortly raise them. Are you capable of understanding if they sit on a shelf, in a warehouse, at the factory price will over time drop.

Supply and demand. There's a notional "equilibrium price" where demand exactly equals supply. Prices above or below equilibrium indicate either excess supply or demand.

That's the most likely explanation, in my mind. They can't pass gun control legislation and keep their jobs. SO they are buying up all the ammo and primers. Without going to Congress to pass a budget / legislation.

JUST like they paid for tens of billions of $$$ in "free" vaxx doses, and then the sheeple all lined up for the free gov't healthcare.

Thinking really is dead, in this country.

Well anyone on Medicare who got vaccinated had the shots paid for by Medicare. Where did that money come from? From my biweekly Medicare deduction and from my employer. That was real money earned the old fashioned way. The freebies are the dead beats who live off the working class. That was fiat money.
