A new message from Federal

They won’t keep their customers long at those prices!

I thought it was outrageous too, but the majority of places that seems to be the going rate. $55-$70 for 147 ELDMs. 22LR is about $50-55 for 550 rounds. After realizing that, I will no longer complain about prices, its just a fact now. I guess my personal frustration is I can't shoot at the volume I want.

Once again, ad nauseum, Its most definitely due to shipping issues, worker shortages, supply chain trying to catch up on raw materials, new shooters, etc...the list goes on and on. Just because they are ramping up now and producing ammo doesnt mean we will see anything meaningful in the near future. Its going to be a gradual process. Then once ammo is stacked up and not selling bc of higher prices, then they will come back down. Just a slow, painful timeline.

People need to pull their heads out of their butts. This is not consumer driven hoarding. The product is never showing up at the distributors. The product is being produced in record numbers, but not for consumers. How can you hoard something that is never showing up that the stores and distributors to hoard??? The product is going to "other customers" in massive quantities. Now who is a big enough customer to tell Walmart they are not getting their ammo this year? Someone did!!!

People really need to start using their brains... seriously.

His lips are moving.

Last summer there was new Remington 300 Savage, of all things, at a LGS for $80 a box. The same stuff is now selling for $40. WTF? That's some margin.

That's the most likely explanation, in my mind. They can't pass gun control legislation and keep their jobs. SO they are buying up all the ammo and primers. Without going to Congress to pass a budget / legislation.

JUST like they paid for tens of billions of $$$ in "free" vaxx doses, and then the sheeple all lined up for the free gov't healthcare.

Thinking really is dead, in this country.

So let me ask this question......Does retail distributers such
as PV Inc, Shooters. Brownells. Natchez, etc, etc, etc, buy
direct from companies such as Berger, or do they buy from
a distributer themselves ??? Lets weed this out folks.

Democrats are secretly pro gun. They are in bed with the manufacturers. They create demand by threatening new laws and putting restrictions on imports. Look what we have now...American companies making AKs and PSA getting into the steel ammo market. Under trump we lost bump stocks and remington went under. Under biden we have remington coming back, colt getting rescued from bankruptcy, forced reset triggers, and ammo coming back into full production. Gun manufacturers give the democrats kick backs from the $350 billion dollar a year industry. They also give the ATF free reign so CEOs, like the guy from rare breed triggers, can make it public, take the issues to court, and win, thus strengthen the 2A. Republicans are the ones who are actually anti gun.

Very nice! I'm reading it as a satire on conspiracy theories.

If I've got it wrong, I apologize.

What actual evidence do you have for this?

You believe there is someone buying ammo from an ammo manufacturer that told Walmart they couldn't have any ammo?
