A Forum Suggestion

My wife bought a motorhome yesterday. One of the reasons she justified the purchase was that we can take it to rifle matches around the country as part of vacations. I stopped being angry with her at that point. ;D

I'd like to suggest we have a spreadsheet or forum pages where a calendar could be posted for different disciplines and their matches around the country. For example: F-Class, HP, BR could have their own calendars listing the match location, a brief description of the course of fire, and a link to the match bulletin. Shooters could then pick their discipline, look at each month, and see what matches are where. I watch the forums pretty well, and have a handle on what happens here in the midwest, but it is easy to miss something.

That would be very helpful for us to plan our year and line up traveling. I am already working on my schedule but don't know where all the matches are or when. That would make it much easier. Great idea!!

Scott, I have faith in you to figure this out. Separating the disciplines may just be the answer to getting this to work. We will not know unless you try it and I think it would help everyone's match attendance. Keep it simple to access so I can use it, lol

I am not an Excel guy, but I know some shooters who would help. We could do several topics in the Competition Section just like Rod does with the "where to shoot" spread sheet, but I would think we could do an easier format. I would love if we could resurrect the calendar feature at the top of this section, maybe dividing it by disciplines as I first suggested. If it costs money, I will pony up enough to get the F-Class section going.
