A blast from the not so distant past...reloading equip.

Hey members,
I thought I would post a few pictures of some equipment I brought home. Some neat, older stuff that my dad used to use for reloading. I can remember when I was little and seeing him sitting at his reloading bench using some of these. He had changed up equip over the years and these were some of the items I found in his stuff after he passed away and mom told me to take it since I was the only one that still reloads.
Enjoy the pics. Some of you may still use these as they are built to last and seem dependable. I may put some of it to work.

Yeah, it brought back memories for me as well. Now I see where I get the habit of keeping the boxes for everything from. Him and I would reload together in the recent years, but he was using his newer equipment. His favorite press is a "CH" press. It is still attached to the bench along with an RCBS Rockchucker. Those will be coming home this week. Just looking for where to put all this stuff. He has some cool paper cans that the powder used to come in. Lots of neat stuff.

That’s just too cool. I would put the old Pacific scales on the wood block and the Herter’s trickler somewhere in the house on a shelf for a sentiment. Then use the heck out of that good Lyman scale. Thanks for showing us.

I have the same Ohaus scale and 55 measure, from 40+ years ago. Still use them.

The black Pacific powder scale/balance, and the Ideal/Lym n 55 powder measure are the tools I started out with 30 yrs ago, supporting my Pacific C press, and still ARE. I don't load thousands of rounds, but I do enjoy my reloading sessions with no stress to make hundreds of rounds by the weekend.

I have a Lyman 55 measure, and a Niel Jones Lyman 55 conversion. Both still work like a champ.

I am 71, still have my Heaters scale and power thrower. Scale works perfect, powder thrower is most accurate and consistent I have used for flake pistol powders. I received both of them for my 14th birthday.

I think were dating ourselves!! My Lyman 55 was converted by a fine gentleman by the name of Ed Longo back in the early 80's and the old 505 has been around since I got out of the service in 71. The little magic marker D on the base stands for Dad. Had Scott Parker go over it for me and I plan on using it as long as I'm around. The measure has an electronic turns counting dial on it and is extremely repeatable.
