A blast from the not so distant past...reloading equip.

Yep still got my Ohaus D-5 balance beam bought it in 1966. Still use it from time to time. Still got my Powley Computer For Handloaders & my Powley psi Calculator from Hutton rifle Ranch. Still use it from time to time.:)

Thanks for all the great feedback guys. One ironic twist, my dads name was Charlie, everybody called him Chuck. I see a few of the posts here are from "Charlies" as well. One more fun thing...some of those boxes and powder cans have the original price tag on them. Dont even know if I should show you...you might think inflation is out of hand, hahahaha.

Beautiful equipment.

Got my start with the same equipment. The old 55 and the pacific press. Dads still got that stuff. That old 55 would throw ball pretty good. Doug

Pretty cool link to the past. I have some old(er) stuff from a Grandfather. Easton once used to make single stage presses. Now they are Easton Archery; aluminum and carbon fiber arrows, and bows. Earl Hoyt (archery) sold out to them many years ago.

I still use a C&H "C" press, which is what I started reloading on, back in 1954. Of course, I also have a Rock Chucker, for heavier duty jobs.
And my old Lyman 55 is so old, it came with black finish, I think from around 1949.

I e got 3 lyman 55 on the bench and at least 1 oil dampened scale.

I'm still using my Lyman TruLine turret press.

Great post and timely with my recent desire for building a collection of older scales. Bad thing is now i want one of thos old blue pacific presses lol. Glad you value the family heirlooms as well. Im sure at even the likely low prices on the boxs it was still an investment in their time. If you and or your dad are anything like a lot of us theres some pride that goes into working hard and being able to aquire these type of tools. I know me personally its a bit of a dieing hobby, people dont place value on being able to produce their own ammo, or use carry on things that our family has done. I think i have and surely hope ive atleast got one of my daughters hooked. She spends a lot of time at the bench with me. Makes for good opportunities to talk as well. I could ramble on... great post man

My brother gave me an old Pacific press he had when I first started reloading. The shell holder was built into the ram. If you changed calibers you had to change the ram.
