Which Reloading equip for the range?

I shoot BR ans I'd like the ability to load at the range.
1. What equip is best?
2. Do you still use the charge master outdoors?
3. Does it reqiure different dies, etc?

I use a Harrell arbor press and Wilson hand dies. I also use a RCBS partner press for threaded dies. Harrell powder measure works great. I have seen guy use a charge master if it is not windy.

Here's the premiere site for BR range loading equipment: http://www.harrellsprec.com/

Browse and you'll see why. Lynwood can help with specific questions. One of the nicest folks you'll ever deal with.

A former World Benchrest Team member that I know uses TWO of these simultaneously at the range during competitions: http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=RC98923&src=sim He's sealed out wind with adhesive backed foam all along the edges of the cover.

Get yourself a huge Dodge "Sprinter" van and move you basement operation to the van. You'll have it with you at all times.

Depends on how serious or expensive you want to get. The Harrel equipment with Wilson Dies is (IMO) the best around. But if you want to get by a bit cheaper and still use the Wilson Dies (which I believe is the only way to go) take a look at www.shooters-supply.com. Russ Haydon has his own line of Arbor Presses and sells the Harrell equipment as well last I talked to him about a year or so ago.

Anyone built a mobile reloading station they want to share pics of with us. Am curious to see how others are setting themselves up before i cock it up !

I like to keep it small. The RCBS Partner press is a good one for threaded dies; but I often take the arbor press with Wilson dies. I made an aluminum angle to mount my Harrels powder measure on the side of my range box. Hornady 350 scale is compact. Then of course, take your chrono, caliper, mike, lube, cleaning materials, small screwdriver, etc., etc. All this stuff goes in a large tray that sits on back floor in the truck.

It may be that, with a little adaptation, all the equipment that you are currently using, will do just fine. The one possible exception may be if you are using a cast iron press. These can be a bit heavy, but other than that, they work fine. What are you using?

I will get dual use out of this picture since I posted it on another thread.

I just finished this today. It is my idea of a portable rig to take to the range. All steel and sufficiently heavy to do FL resize of cases. I have to add a rubber pad to the bottom and mount my powder measure behind the press. I'm also going to add a bracket to attach Akro Bins hanging off the side of the uprights.
