95 VLD Berger in 1 in 10 twist .243?

Has anyone got them to shoot well in a 1 in 10 twist .243?
I like everything about the bullet but berger says it needs a 1 in 9 twist barrel. My barrel is just a straight factory tube, not a custom barrel if that makes any difference.

They shoot great out of my Savage 243 with a 1-9.

Ya I sure wish my factory barrel had a 1 in 9" twist. It opens up a lot more possibilities. The wind is always blowing here and I like the higher b.c bullets to give me a little more margin of error.

The 25" 243 AI I have shoots the 95 VLD Berger into a 1/2 MOA with a 1:10 twist Kreiger. Reloader 22 & astonishing speed. Kids dont try this at home. 3500FPS. Those are HOT for this gun & is meant for Coyotes Up north in the frigid winters.


You might want to try them once.
