If you REALLY want it super quiet, try about 6 or 7 grains of Unique powder and work around there. You’ll be amazed at the difference what lower muzzle pressure in the can will doI was chasing my tail with the "published" data that Q provides. The info for the 300 SMK bullet was way under what it needed to be. I stole some information from another forum, and this all jives with reality. Had a great day shooting it today.
Sierra SMK 300 gr.
Powder: Accurate 1680 16.5 gr 1088 FPS
Powder: TAC 18.0 gr 1084 FPS
Powder: CFE BLK 17.0 gr 1088 FPS
OAL: 2.670”
Why not make components purchasing easy on yourself and just do a 338/ 7.62x39?

Get something that will work up to 36 cal to cover all the fun stuff!! 9mm subs suppressed is the MOST fun!!Now that I know it works... I'm going to invest in a 338 suppressor. My local gunshop has one, and a silencerco kiosk... should be easy to get.
That’s the one!! Will work for everything!,Omega 36M. It's full auto rated.
I built a Form 4 can... it works really well, but i don't want to bore it out to 338.
The 1 in 3 Twist is required to stabilize the heavier bullets.Naturally the 8.6 blackout looks like fun too, especially with this 1 in 3 twist. I can only imagine the fun that would be shooting suppressed. The fast spin may be a marketing gimmick or maybe it’s really something new and different that works.
