When using a 7mm /284 Win with 180 gr Berger VLD bullets velocity is approx 2890 fps. With the "new" 200 gr ULD RBBT bullets (0,900 bc) velocity might be to low for effectively competing to 1000 yards. With the 7 mm WSM the normal velocity is likely to be more than 3000 fps with a 180 gr Berger. I don`t like velocity over 3000 fps as it kills barrel life. However, with this 200 gr bullet it might be the same velocity as a 7 mm / 284 Win with 180 gr and I think it might give good account of it self. What is other F Class shooters opinion?
