Used the Hornady 139gr Super Performance ammo in my 24" Rem 700 CDL for hunting. Easily held 1moa at 300yd and MV 2900fps. Terrific ammo and cannot see any reason to reload for it with such excellent ammo available for hunting. Silhouette and competition, yes, but for hunting, Hornady makes it too easy.

This ammo was my first choice for my Remmy 7mm08 but when i shot it i couldn't believe my eyes. 3 shot group in about 9". I stopped and started performing an inspection of the rig. I shot plain jane 140 Remington Core Lokts and amazingly all cut the same hole. I am currently shooting Nosler Partitions which are also one holers out of her. I have never saw a gun dislike a bullet this bad in my life.

Same here. I have a Remmy 700 in 7-08 that I tried the 139 SST Superformance in. Groups averaged 5" at 100 yds . Handloads though, .5 moa on average, and .3 when I have a good day. I'm not sure what's going on with it, but it really dislikes that ammo.

Here is a 5 shot group with my Remmy 7mm08 at 100 yards . 140 gr Nosler Partitions. This is the same gun minutes earlier printed a 9" group with the 139 Superperformance ammo.

44 of R17 makes ~2820 out of my 708. Primers looks great and no signs of pressure. 26" Shillen.

26" barrel on my rem model 7 shoots a 140 Berger right at 3000 with a max charge of cfe223

I just got one and decided to try to use the 154 grain Hornady Interbond. I had to buy the large action magazine and fix the bolt stop to get my olgive length. Actually, my gunsmith did this for me. I do not shoot F class but thought this bullet would be a good compromise for long range when needed as well as deer up close. Thoughts?
