The SPEER #14 Manual Page 239 talks about using their 70 grain TNT bullets. I have a 6mm PPC with an sporter barrel and shoot the 6mm 70 grain TNT's in it with H322 powder. I'm really happy how it shoots.i want to hunt ground hogs with these with my 6mm ppc rifle.they are a boat tail bullet.i have a 22 inch 1/14 twist barrel .what are your thoughts on these bullets.max range from where i hunt is about 300 yards.

Does Sierra still make the little 60 gr. HP? I never used them for what ya could call long range, but I vaporized a truck load of chucks with them out to 300ish yards. Also a few coyotes with no exit.
My most accurate load with them was the hottest in the old Speer #8 book, which was for Speer's 75 gr. HP. I figured it would be safe, but I ruined the primer pockets on twenty or thirty cases.jd
