CHEAP Factory, 6 mm Creedmoor "Ammunition", is Mostly, what, "Killed" the 6XC off, Except for,..
the Serious, Reloaders / Competitors.
I think Hornady was, too CHEAP to, Pay D. Tubb,.. a small Royalty ( Maybe ? )
The 6 Creed is OK But, the 6 XC is,.. a way BETTER, design,.. JMHO,. LOL !
The Longer Neck and a Few grains,.. LESS Powder, allow for, Better,.. Barrel "Life"
Personally, I won't Be, Changing from,.. It !

Plenty of love for that cartridge right here. I have one set up for target use and one for hunting use. Both shoot the 105gr Berger hybrids. As a long range deer / antelope cartridge I would venture to say there is none better. I have personally killed deer out to 763 yards with mine and seen it used to kill out to over900. One and done bang flops. Kills very well for it's size. I am a firm believer in matching the caliber to the intended target and shooting the XC at deer is like shooting Jack Rabbits with a .22 Mag. Just plain works. The 105s dump most if not all of their energy into the deer and when it does exit it does so with extreme exit wounds. I will never be without one.
