6XC Reamer spec question

FYI.
JGS has never made a reamer for me... Dave Manson has my reamer specs and will freely share them.
I use a .278" neck / .160 freebore/1 1/2 lead -- for DTAC 115's
Base of the case is .4705"

Our 6XC die set is designed to small base and full length resize.
In the paper of David Tubb's recommendations with attached reamer print from Manson the base is shown to be .470?

Is there a reason why one should prefer the 6XC JGS 1297 (.160fb; .470 at .200 datum) vs JGS 1316 Whitley spec (.148fb; .4714 at .200 datum)?
Thanks

Tubb just got reamers to his spec in stock. He just posted it to Facebook. He said he had nothing to do with the 6xc ii and does not recommend it.

No. It is traditionally a LR primer case based off the 22-250 which is LP. The Norma brass is LP. -T

My understanding is OAL coming up .020 short +/- if a 22-250 case is used. We really like our XC w a nearly .400 neck length. Great bbl life.
