Dtac has the same bc too, I run Lapua brass, 205M, 41.1gr of RL 16, 110 Sierra, average 3110fps, I've had it up to 3155 with no pressures signs.
I get 3100 from my 6XC with 110's too, again RL 16, barrel may be a faster barrel though. So far it seems way safe.I didn't know they could go that fast, that's pretty sweet.
I plan to apply, Joe Hendrick's, "theory" that, he uses, SUCCESSFULLY, on his, 6MM Comp Match Rifles, to the 6MM Creedmoor caliber. The 6 Creed's, approx. .039 longer, "body" has, a little more, powder capacity than both, the 6x47 L or, the 6XC, thus allowing for, the use of, a few grains more of, single base, "colder burning", powder's like, H-100V, N-160, N-165 or, RL-16. Using non-Max loads at, the lower "accuracy Nodes" I should be able to obtain, better bbl "life" for, the type of, Varmint hunting/ informal Target shooting that, I do. I'll also, apply Joe's, cleaning and barrel care technique's, to my 6 MM Creed barrel, to help with that !. I'm hoping for 2,500+ rounds of good, accurate, use. Many major, brass Manufacturers, are "supporting", the 6 Creed's design with, lots of, GREAT brass available and I like the idea of, "Plug and Play" with, NO case, forming, turning, etc. For "sheer accuracy", the 6x47L and 6XC, may be better choice's,.. IDK or, care. For ME, the 6 mm Creedmoor, seems like,.. a "good one" !
I is fixin to go the XC route on my ugly savage yep I is lolMy el-chepo Savage target rifle build uses a 6XC prefit Criterion barrel. The best shooting (and ungliest) rifle I've ever owned If you already shoot the XC there's no reason to change.....there's little to be gained.
What freebore are you all running for 6 Creemore? For 105-115 bullets?
For 105 VLDs, .104fb, 115 .140fb or so would be a good start. What freebore are you all running for 6 Creedmoor? For 105-115 bullets?
6CM as in Comp Match? Here's some Alpha 6 Creedmoor brass, Peterson and Starline make 6 creed brass as well.I went with the 6 CM just out of convenience. Readily available brass and ammo.
Good to know, thanks.6CM as in Comp Match? Here's some Alpha 6 Creedmoor brass, Peterson and Starline make 6 creed brass as well.
Nothing wrong with Hornady brass, these will be fired 11 times after my wife tests them.Good to know, thanks.

I kind of been hearing from local guys not shooting competition that their 6 creeds have been a little hard to tune or seem to loose the tune. So I wonder . I just dont need one, maybe a deal will come my way on one for me to play with.I have read many say 6 XC is easier to load for, more consistent, and such, when compared to 6 creed. Curious why that is, assuming its true. I have 1550 on my first 6 creed barrel now and have a few blanks and new action. Considering switching to 6 XC, but trying to determine if the juice is worth the squeeze. My 6 creed has shot great, but I did have to aggresively chase lands every few hundred rounds to maintain the 15 thou jump my 108 elds wanted. Then at around 1200 rounds I ran out of mag room to do so. Thanks for any thought.
Within the last week I've talked to 3 shooters that have went from the 6xc to the 6 Creedmoor or have both. All 3 say they prefer the 6xc, and the 6.5 Creedmoor over the 6 Creedmoor. WD
