Just curious if anyone has a good load using 8208 with the lighter bullets in a 6xc? This will be a short line load. I'm tired of trying to throw H4350 as it has a tendency to bridge in my powder thrower.

Marty, I only tried it with my 58gr Vmax and then just a curiosity run of 5 using 40 grains and a COL of 2.40. I like to get the bullet shank down into the neck around 1 caliber. Shot as well as Varget, producing a group just under an inch at 100 yd but the old timer I was helping was a bit of distraction. Constant up and down between shots didn't help my concentration. I know, excuses excuses... At least my barrel had plenty of cool down time. My LabRadar had trouble getting a reading on them (Acquisition Errors) however, so I can't comment on the resultant velocity. That's only the second powder I've had trouble with in this caliber (so far). The other one was CFE223.

H-4895 is the fastest burn rate powder that I have tried with the XC shooting 68-80's through a 12twist barrel. Shot them very well. WD
