Bolt face size was my reason for this 6x45. I already have a 5.56N and another 223R so I figured why not?I've been shooting a 6x45 since around 1990.and a 6x47 Improved (6mm-204) since 2006. It is a really easy cartridge to work with. I'd stick with 75gr and under as there isn't a lot of room for powder. I use mine for called coyotes.
All manner of 6x47s were built for the BR game, when you look at the new ld article it seem everyone had their own version.
The 6mm on a small bolt-face was popular in OZ from the 6mm Myrna to the 6x50mm on the 5.6x50 Mag case.
