Thanks

Not quite. The ring die is made by pbike257 and is the only die that will size to the extractor groove. @Uthink Uknow sells them on here. You need one for every case sizeIt’s also called a small base die.

Yep. I have had the same thing before. Small base die solves the problem. The ring you see is where the cases are oversize, hit them with some steel wool after resizing then try in chamber I'm betting the ring will appear then.....
That mirrors my gunsmiths recommendations. Too much yielding that low on the case is mostly a done deal. You can ring die size or small base size it but each firing will go back to where it was.Not really once brass has reached its yield point theres no getting it back. A small base die will make it so they chamber but as soon as you hit pressure it just swells back to where it was. Best just to start with new brass its really the cheapest part of shooting....
Will try the marker approach right now!I'd color it with a marker and see what's rubbing before I started chasing the possibilities ....
I had dj resize & trim my 30cal brass. It wouldn't chamber. I had to really push shoulders due to the neck alignment being so close in my chamber. Just small thousandths can make a difference.
I used a marker on several of the bad cases and then tried to chamber them. You could see the mark in the same place as on the brass in the picture I posted.
