6mmBR/Dasher short barrel?

Any one shoot a 6BR/Dasher out of a shorter barrel than usual target length? Hunting length barrels, say 22"-24". Let me know how it worked out, cartridge, barrel length, twist, velocity, bullet type and weight?

Will soon be shooting a 22 inch dasher. Its being used for fireforming cases for a match barrel but also varminting with 70gr noslers.

I had a 22" dasher hunting rife, sold it and building another. 1-8 barrels 105-108 bullets 2800fps, 95 grain 3000. 85 Barnes 3200. Ask away if you have some more questions.

I shoot a 6mmDasher with a 24 inch barrel. I shoot it mainly in 600 yd benchrest competition but I also tried it at 1000 yds and got a 4.088 inch group. Agg for four groups was 7.48 in.

I shoot 105gn Berger VLD over RL17 powder. It does a genuine 3000fps. I must admit, it has surprised me.

The barrel is only this short because I chopped down a 6-284 barrel to get rid of the firecracking. Twist is 1 in 8

My hog gun is striker 6mm dasher 11'' 10 twist 30.6 gr RL10 x 2650 FPS with 100% powder burn.
