6mmbr 95gr. berger hunting vlds on varmints?

I'm shooting the 70 gr BT at 4,000 + in front of 57.5grs of RE#17. But so far haven't had any coyotes are other varmints volunteer for testing. Moving to NV next week.That will soon change.

Is that in a 6-284?

I've also modified hollow point match bullets to make them more effective on small critters. I modified the 69gr smk .224, using a Sinclair's meplat trimmer/uniformer and a .060" drill bit (you may be able to use a larger bit on the 6mm).

As mentioned before, the bullets accuracy was unchanged, and it made it decent for varminting. Now it's far from a v-max, or even an a-max, but it definitely stops them in their tracks. No more making it back to the den to bleed out slowly.
