6MM Creedmore Powder, Bullet

H4350 powder. I had good luck with 105 Amax, 105 Hybrids and 115 DTAC. Going to try RE16 but have not had good conditions for testing yet this winter here.

R16 is good for heavy 6 and 6.5s. Excellent speed, great accuracy, and very stable temp wise. With the light bullets it's not quite dense enough to get the speed where I want it. Varget and H4350 are better options in that respect.

I've been banging away with the 6 Creedmoor for about five years and, until the introduction of RL16, used nothing but 105 Hybrids and H4350. I tried RL16 in the 6 Creed for no other reason than to make an unscientific comparison to H4350. It turned out to be striking gold. RL16 provided a very wide accuracy node with like velocity for like charges. My load is a proven flat 6.6 mils dial up for center hits at 1,000 yards. Start around 41 and work up toward 42. It's easy on brass and you should see great accuracy.
BTW, I wouldn't try Varget. That, IMO, is like using 87 octane in your drag car.

Great shooting Figures all I have on hand is IMR-4350 Will try your powder when I get some Thanks Biting at the bit to try my new Ruger precision rifle Lou

I have been running 105 hybrids, for sometime. But I wasnt getting the results in grouping that I liked. I figured I would try something different, switched to federal match primers and pushed the 108 bergers two thousands off the lands and my grouping went 1/4” as you can see.

Varget burn rate too fast for the Creedmoor. R16 works great and so does H4350.

This isn't the best they shoot.

Mens, I have that data downloaded. Have 40 rounds loaded and hope to shoot in the next day or two. I like the technology that makes Re16 so easy on barrel throats.
