What is every one's go to bullet for coyotes in 6mm. Not worried about fur.

95 grain, Classic Hunter Bergers and, Hornady 103 grain, ELD-X's in my 6 MM, BOTH, shoot "Well' for, Me !
Good BC's and both, HAVE some,.. "Thump" at, distance, ( and, Good at, "Bucking Wind" ! ) from, my 6 xc.
The 87 gr. V-Maxes would NOT shoot, "Repeatable" good Group's, in my 1-7.5 Twist, SADLY and,..
Believe Me, I Tried and,..Tried ! My Grandson uses them, FINE in his, 1-10 Twist, Tikka, .243 Win for, Practice and Berger 87 gr., H-VLD's for,.. Game ( Deer / Antelope ).

95gr Tipped match king has been one of the most devastating I have seen out of my BR coyote rig. The 87gr Berger works very well though for DRT as well as better on fur for me.

My 6-284 has a 12tw and I shoot the 75gr Vmax. They shoot extremely well for me and they are brutal on coyotes. If you save hides they are not the bullet for you but if you want big nasty messy holes, they're your huckleberry.

68 grain avengers and 70 varmageddons.

But, I shot the 80 grain Dominator last weekend and it was good too. It did exit though, so I’ll be going back to the 68s. I don’t save fur, but I don’t want a mess either.

85 Sierra BTHP but I doubt if you can find them. Second choice, but good choice, 75 Vmax. Either one will blow a predator into the next county.

PS: I do not hunt a lot with my 243 Wins anymore, I use mostly 223 Rem bolt rifles with 55 Nosler BT's (12" twist) and 60 Vmax (8" twist).

The 70 grain Varmageddon is tough on coyotes. Turns parts of them into "bite sized pieces" for the buzzards.

70 gr Varmegeddon, + 1 on that one, messy (jello) inside, not terribly hard on fur, (as if I care), Bobcat at 100 yds only had one hole but thankfully it was all still in the hide. Coyotes , same result. Dead is dead.

75gr Vmax or 70gr NBT. from a 243 or 6xc. Whichever shoots best in your rifle. JME. WD

87 V-max is very close to perfect. Will expand at any distance you can place the shot! Around 2850 is very fur friendly, beyond that, not so much. But they will be very dead at most any speed.

Yes I agree, I shoot a 6MM AI with a 1 - 13.5 twist. And it does a good job on Coyotes.
