6mm BR starting point

I am just gathering supplies to start shooting my Savage LRPV in 6BR.
I found some 108 Bergers and IMR 4895 localy and buoght a supply of BR4 primers.
My rifle is an 8 twist.
I loaded a safe load of 28 GR IMR4895 for my first trip to the range and got good results with four groups of five shots.
More are loaded in .030 increments to see how that effects the groups. Again with the 108 Bergers.
My question for the forum is which Bullets ( weight and brand ) do you feel that I should try to find next?
I feel I know which powders I would like to try RL15,VV-N150, Varget, but they are unavailabe as we all know.
I'm in MA and it's too cold to do much, but I can try and find bluuets and powder for the next months and dream about warmer weather.

108 Bergers are some of the best in my opinion. Your powder list is spot on. Bullets to try--hmmm maybe Sierra 107, Berger 105 Hybrid or VLD hunting, customs? Have fun.

107 Sierra MK & 105 Berger VLD work really well.

Im using 105 Berger hybrids, i have tried 105 berger target with good luck also. Im running h4895

IMR4166 is a good alternative. Start about 28.5 15 thou jamb.

My Savage 12 F Class in 6br liked the 108 Bergers (with Varget).

I'm running 105 Hornaday Amax with IMR4895 to bang steel with mine. I've shot it in one 1000 yard f class match with a respectable 4th finish. My next barrel will be getting 103 V- Tac Vapor Trails. Tom does sell a full custom 103.

What kind of groupsof groups have you seen with your 105 Bergers and 107 SMK ?
I guess i'm a numbers guy and like to have some idea of what could be expected.

Couple of 5 shot groups with 107 gr. Sierras. Not trying to say every group is this tight but just to show its capable no doubt.

My 6BR likes the 107 Pointed Sierras as well as 105 Berger Hybrids and 90 Lapua Scenar.
